Is it possible to put a 80 series slide on a 70 series frame?  If so, what kind modification is neccesary to make it work?

70 slide on a 80 frame= Remove the firing pin plunger and spring (will be a small hole were the plunger used to be.

80 frame on a 70 slide = Remove the trigger lift/Firing pin plunger cams, and replace them with a single spacer ($6.00 from brownell's).

80 complete pistol for target use= remove the firing pin plunger/spring in the slide, and then remove the plunger lifting cams (replaced with the spacer).  This allows you to set a trigger with take up to be very crisp (no over pull to activate the firing pin device), and drop at least a pound off the pull/break point).
