Hi Guys =, I just bought a 637-2 and was wondering what changes if any have been made over the standard 637, Also since I'm asking questions would graphite be ok to use as a lubricant to help keep this revolver from gathering too much crud? thanks for the help.

I was thinking extractor rod and maybe around the hammer.

Graphite will do just fine there. Unless you're out West in AZ or somewhere there's lots of sand, I wouldn't sweat the crud worry over oil too terribly much, IMO.

Blue Book doesn't list the differences between the dash models, sorry. An e-mail to S&W will probably get you an accurate answer though, IMO.

Good luck!
