I shot one at the range, and it was a hoot. With lightish magnums, it felt like full magnums through my 629 4" mountain gun. Hella-light, though, great for back-packing. I think I could probably get 6 full magnums out before I lost all feeling in my hand, and that's probably good enough.

This gun is perfect for .44spl, IMO.

It is a blast to shoot with hot .44 Magnum handloads! It seems to have more recoil than a .500 S&W. If only it did actually have the same velocity and power!
