I wish it was NIB. Neighbor gave it to me since he can't shoot anymore due to a stroke
Good luck finding mags for it, I can't find them anywhere.
ETA: careful with those non captive recoil springs. I lanched mine across the room the first time I field stripped it

Can new recoil/magsprings still be had?
This was a good score. NIB too.
DAO will take some gettin' used to.

DAO will be hard to get used to?  Naa, I prefer it over TDA, in S&W's anyway.  Since the hammer of the 3rd Generations are cocked half way by the slide, I find the trigger pulls to be about the same length and weight as a Glock, but they are smoother and crisper, without any of the "spongy" feel those Glucks have.

My S&W 10mm is a TDA (1006), and I really like it.  And, I also have a 4506.  But, my other S&W autos are DAO's, and I actually traded TDA versions of them to get the DAO models.  I like the consistant trigger pulls, without external safeties to deal with.
