I had a chance to shoot one of the new Lew Horton S&W Heritage Series 1917 and I must say is was as nice, maybe even tighter, than my 1917 (made in '17-'18). All in all, it was pretty good except...

there's always one of those excepts

it carried a price tag of over $1000.00.

OUCH

I have a feeling I'll be shooting my old junk for many years to come.
