I have a couple 5906 police trade ins that came with those terrible Hogue grips.  I have large enough hands that I have trouble finding gloves, and those grips are still too big.

From the pictures I've seen of the stock grips, they attach differently than these rubber monstrosities.  Will I need any additional parts to restore these pistols to their former glory?

I'm not familiar with how the Hogue's attach in the 5906, but all I can think you may need other than a pair of the factory grips is the grip pin that goes thru the grips and holds the hammer spring in place. Both easily found.
