Thanks for ordering. This is a very high quality stainless unit. It comes at a particularyly good time what with Beretta going on the cheap and furinishing the new guns with plastic guide rods. Being a 1911 nut myself for many year I have paid considerably more for full length guide rods and not gotten the recoil buffer feature that come with this one. Denny |

Just got mine today.... All I can say is that this is THE recoil buffer I have been waiting for! I tested it out on the range and it definately does what it is supposed to: Cuts the recoil drastically. I have to be honest and say that it will take some getting used to because the handgun I tested it in handled very differently. I am very satisfied and would like to see this style buffer for some of my other makes of handguns ;) I will be ordering more for more other berettas in the new future.

Yup, shot my full auto M92 and my semi M96 the 4th with and without the buffer and guide rod and the resultant improvement is very noticable.

2nd range report:
Had to take the wife to the range today to have her try it. She noticed the difference in recoil right away! I was so excited about the performance that I had one of the gunsmiths at the range try it out and tell me what he thought (I think he will probably be ordering some in the near future ;)). Now you just need to put out the same type for some other makes (hint hint). |

Do you know which SIG pistols will be covered by these new recoil systems? I have a .40 P229, and I was wondering of there'll be a new recoil system available for this model. |
