Best I can tell from various internet forums, (have never actually seen one) only the fact that the front and back grip straps are cross hatched rather than just vertically grooved. There may be a slight difference in the shape of the dustcover and they come with the single "bar" rear and dot front sight. Front sight is NOT dovetailed.

Nothing new on it really... It's just a combination of a "92 G-SD" frame with a regular "M9" slide.

Is there more relief in the frame where the web of the hand goes or am I seeing things? |

You're seeing things. All 92's with the standard grip have that small amount of relief. |

+1. Its probably an optical illusion caused by the horizontal grooves in the rear of the frame, opposed to the previously used vertical grooves. |
