So, I got a one time purchase factory direct for any beretta firearm at wholesale price.  If I purchase any of the guns in the Law Enforcement line-up I get an additional 30% off of wholesale...  I've already got 7 92's so that's not what I'm wanting to buy...  Help me out.  Any PX4  or Cougar owners got any input?  What do I get?

UPDATE 2/24...  I have narrowed it down to the following three pistols...

Model 92 G-SD - Available now
Model M9A1      - Available now
Model 90-TWO  - Available in late June

The 92G-SD and M9A1 are about equal in cost, the 90TWO is about $100 less

What say you guys?

I say go for an Elite II in 9mm,  Sweet Jesus they are nice.

If not that one, then a Vertec in 9mm.

If it were me, either a PX4 in .40 caliber or a 96 Brig Inox if available.

Whatever that target model 92 is would get my vote. Their version of the Sig P-210..............

Since you asked for a Cougar owner's input...  I LOVE my Cougar L.  It has been nothing but a joy to shoot and they're not bad to look at either:

I really would like to get one, but just found out they're in the process of moving cougar production to another location, so the cougars are currently unavailable.  On a side note, I didn't realize how similar the cougar and the 92 are as far as armorer work goes until last week.  Nice pistol you got there.

I played with a few of their revolvers and that wouldn't be a bad toy either.

I like my cougars and, for carry, am more than happy.

I would get the Storm Carbine in .40 or 9mm since you have a bunch of mags already.  At first I hated it but the thing handles great. I think if they would redesighn the stock they would be one of the hottest selling things out there. Just my opinion. I was going to say a 92 but you said you already had one.

If you have time, I'd wait until the 90-Two was released. It looks like it's going to be pretty neat, and I'm sure it isn't going to be cheap.

Beretta imports SAKO. If that counts, TRG in .308.

Well, if you can't get a Cougar then I would second holding out for a 90-two.  It seems like you're a 92 fan (you have SEVEN of them if I heard properly!? hock.gif ) so the feel of the 90-two would probably be right up you're alley.  It would also be nice to get a discount on one of the hottest new guns to come out of Beretta.  I'm not a fan of the whole "futuristic" look of the newer Berettas, but I do like the 90-two for some reason.  With a new set of grips I think it could be really great looking.  I only mention looks so much because I feel that any Beretta is going to be a great functioning product.

I'd definitely go for a CX4 in 9mm.

why do you have 3 92 models in your poll?  I thought you said you already had enough 92's and wanted to go with something else?

I'm telling ya, look into the CX4.

Another good gun is the PX4.  I've been hearing RAVE reviews on it.

With all the 92's you have why get one more right now regardless of what model it is. I vote with the others and think you should get a CX4. It's a great combo with a 92 and an all around excellent carbine. Light, fast, accurate and reliable. It's easy to add on accessories and mount optics. You seem like you've already got enough 92's to throw in a little mixer.
