I wouldn't think that the amount of barrel that sticks out is enough to thread and get a "grip" on. I'd think you need a half an inch at least.

It is my understanding that the prodruding portion of a standard M9 or 92FS barrel is enough length to support the use of a suppressor when threaded. I would however contact Gemtech to confirm that.
