A friend of mine bought a Beretta Px4 Storm in 9mm several months ago. He is wondering if there is a way to fire .22LR by changing out the barrel or otherwise. If he had a Glock, I could talk with him. However, i am totally ignorant in regard to Beretta pistols so I thought I would ask those of you who do know.

The only Beretta pistols that have .22 kits are the 92/96 line... Beretta makes one at periodic times and Ciener does/did (don't know or care if he is still in business).

It is a newer design. It takes a lot of demand for .22 kits to be designed, and with the PX4, there isn't the demand for it (I have two, by the way; probably wouldn't buy a kit if it were offered).

Thanks, Screwball.
I'll tell him to buy a dedicated .22 pistol.
