Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - P226 barrel in a P229?

I have an extra 226 barrel that I have had posted in the EE for awile without any takers. I have a Barsto threaded barrel for my 226 and an EFK Fire Dragon for my 229. I was wondering if the 226 barrel would work in the 229? I don't like the looks of the EFK and would prefer to get the 226 barrel threaded if it will fit the 229. Thoughts?

It wont work. I just tried putting the barrel from my 226 into my 229. Look at your barrels, they aren't shaped the same.
