I have a bunch of preban 9mm 226 mags in hi- cap.  I read that you can use these with the .357 sig round with no modification to the magazine. How many will they hold of the .357's and if used that way in the 226 (chambered in .357 of course) are they stone cold reliable?

generally, 13 rounds. Are they reliable? IMHO, they are reliable enough for range use but I wouldn't use them for CCW.

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll stay with the 10 rnd factories for the .357 -- Personal defense is for the only reason I asked. --John.
