I'm looking to pick up something small(but not too small) for daily concealed carry.  Full sized 1911's and "wonder nines" are just to much of a hassle for habitual carry for me.  I'm just wondering if the P239 has the inherent quality of my P220 and P226.  So, any comments are appreciated.

I have a P239 in 9mm and I love it.  I put a set of Hogue grips, tritium night sights and one of those mercury filled recoil reducing guide rods in/on it.  It fills my hand perfectly and shoots great.
When I finally get my CCW permit it's gonna be what I carry.

I like my 9mm.  Very nice little gun.

I have one in 9mm along with several other full size SIGs.  It is of comparable quality so don't worry about that issue.
It is a great daily carry gun.  Compact enough for fairly easy concealment, but big enough to fit the average hand.

I find the Sig P-239 in 9x19 to be the most comfortable fit of any handgun I own.  I have added after market grips from Houge, the wrap a round verity, to enhance control under recoil.

Sigs have very fine triggers, both double and single action, as well as some of the best sight systems available.

I also have a Sig P-239 in 357 Sig which just ever so slightly larger. Now, that 357 Sig is one bad cartridge.

Make sure you find an extra $20 for the Houge grips, make a BIG difference in control.

My wifes carry gun is the 239 in 9mm. I carry it from time to time, and it conceales very well. Great little shooter.

I've also shot my friends 40S&W 239, and teh recoil is similar to my 229 in .40 S&W.

IMO, the 239 in .40S&W or .357 SIg is teh PERFECT carry gun.

I have one in 357. Heavy bastard. Something I didnt really pay attention to when looking at a concealable was the weight. Fully loaded, it weighs almost as much as my duty issue P220.

I think this is due to the whole thing being made of stainless steel.
