Sig came out with the camo finish awhile back, I think they stopped using the finish due to lack of interest, just never became a popular choice. I have also heard the finish did not hold up as well as other Sigs, dont know this for fact but its what I have heard. But if you like it then thats what counts, it is a Sig and except for finish is identical to any other 228.

Local shop has one. Been sitting on it for better than two years. Camo on a turkey shotgun makes some sense. A camo'ed handgun is pointless IMHO. Especially a 228. Maybe, just maybe. a camo Ruger Super Redhawk or Smith 29. But not a 228.

Though a camo Sig is not my first choice!I think I would rather have camo than bling bling gold plated controls,rainbow slides,or polished chrome or polished stainless!

me, I think camo on a pistol may look cool but its pointless for the extra $$$$. I just prefer black or silver.

agreed... its like that Stupid ass "carbon fiber look" that glock did. (it did do one thing though, it got rid of all their unwanted olive drab brown guns. |

I have seen one Camo P228 and a Desert camo Glock 26 in the same shop.

Well I like the damn thing. It fits my hand like a glove,I think it cool ,and it shoots like ....... well......
great.I just love this gun.I didn't think it would shoot as well as my BHP,but it shoots better.I really think my pistol searching days are over. |

all that really matters is that your happy about the gun, our opinions may sway you slightly if even a little bit. get what you want. just make sure its ARF approved...
