Hi guys! I am interested in purchasing some trigger springs for my sig pistols. I'd like to exchange the springs in order to drop the DA trigger pull from standard 10lbs to about 6lbs. Where can I get the springs to do this and how hard are they replace? Thanks!

Don

www.gunsprings.com or www.brownells.com
They're not hard to replace. I'm an armorer and also bought the armorer's video that the guys from Sigforum put together.  It basically takes a screwdriver to pop them in and out. I would however recommend against changing the hammer spring from the factory weight. While it makes the trigger lighter you will have light primer strikes or none at all unless your pistol is DAO.

Just a spring change isn't going to drop your DA pull to 6lbs.  I did a triggerjob on my own EL220 and used a 17lb Wolff in it and a lighter sear spring that I had made and can only get the DA pull to 6.5lbs.  SA pull is 3.25lbs

With only a spring change you'll typically only get down to about 8-8.5lbs depending on the particular pistol.  If this is a carry gun I don't recommend a lighter spring than 18lbs and even with that it should be swapped out every 1500 rounds to ensure hard enough strikes on the primers.

Thanks for the input guys! I'll consider not dropping the spring weight then. BTW sorry for posting this thread so many times. My computer is doing something weird on this page. It don't update the page normally and crashes when I was trying to submit the post. It did not appear that it was getting posted. Sorry
