I am a complete Sig noobie and just purchased my P229R in 9mm and was wondering if P228 9mm clips are interchangable at all? Any and all help with the P229R in general would be great.

Yep, P228 magazines are completely interchangeable. Good purchase. Mecgar makes a 15rd flush fitting magazine for it as well.

I love my 229 in .357sig.

So I could buy any of these magazines for the P228 and they would work?

Any of the mags for the 228 will fit flush - the 226 mag will work as well, but will extend out the bottom of the mag well. I STRONGLY recommend the Mecgar mags for P226; haven't tried any for the P228/9, but should work just as well...
