You pick the cal, (220 is only in .45 I think).
What is the real difference besides cal?which of course effects weight.

I personally do not shoot the 220 as well as a 226.  The 226 just points, feels, and shoots perfectly for me.  Hope this helps.

Hard decision.  The P220 is probably the best .45 pistol out there.  The 226 the best 9mm.  So it's down to a choice between caliber.

Do you feel more deadly with few big ones or a lot of little ones.

I vote 220,    and  they made the 220 in 9mm but there aren't very many arround.  (the Swiss Army uses the p220 in 9mm known as M75)

I just bought an old one on Sat. shot it yesterday. It kicks ass!
The 226 is a great gun as well, but you just can't go wrong with a .45....
