I have a silly question. Does anybody know if M11-A1 uses the same holster as the P229?

I would use the holsters made for the 228.

Some 229s have rails, while the M11A1 and the 228 dont.

But in the end it really depends

The newer 229's, yes, with the same height serrations on the rear of the slide. Those are identical.
A holster made for an older 229 that only had 1/4" tall serrations may or may not fit. Depends.
