Best not to over think it. Hit a rental range and see what you personally like. If you like it buy it, you have a warranty.
I'll try to answer though. Guess it depends on what you mean by good. Do you mean reliable, accurate? I find them to be both. Some people say only buy German or W. German Sigs, that N.H. Sig pistols are junk. I don't know about that personally. I have a N.H. P226 (9mm) and have never had a problem but that's just my experience.
Hit the range, see if you like Sig's DA/SA pull, see if the slide stop gets in the way of your grip, etc. I agree with Steve about the SA SRT, feels great. DA first pull does affect accuracy but it's a safety device and you can train on that.
Or does your hand prefer the striker-fired double action of Glocks? Very simple, light, very reliable, etc. They're point and shoot, have low profile catch points along the housing, etc.
Answers are going to very subjective. I like Sigs and Glocks for different reasons. Best to shoot them all, pick one you like and put it in your safe.
