Well first off I have owned 5 GLOCKS 6 now counting my new G17
I got today, I have also owned HK,SIG,BERETTA. 9MM to 45acp and
the GLOCK has been the best why ?

Me and my shooting buddy is hard on are guns when we go shooting we
try and act like the crap has hit the fan low crawl in mud,water,snow etc.

Ever time we go out to shoot we do this well in every case when
we used the HK,BERETTA we had some type of trouble with mud
or tree bark or some type of junk in the hammer area stopping
it from striking the FP. (not good)

But when we shoot are GLOCKS we have never had any trouble at all
nothing are GLOCKS will not die they fire every time.

The sig 9mm only wanted to shoot half the time and never did
find out what was wrong with it i had sent it in to be looked at 2 times
and it would still act up so i sold it.

Do not get me wrong HK,BERETTA are very nice guns but in the what if
the crap hit the fan I like to know if I ever need to fire my weapon to save my life
it will fire.

I appreciate hearing your rugged use of your miscellanious pistols.  Your abuse and use of the Glock does not surpise me.  Glad you like yours...

I have never relied on "other people's accounts" to justify my owning a particular weapon.  

With my Glocks... I've dunked them, thrown them, froze them, heated them, neglected them etc, etc... Every time I've NEEDED it, it has delivered the expected results.  These results have kept myslef, as well as others, out of the hospital as well as alive.

Keep using them, they'll keep up their service for you!

Dude, you are in Maryland, it never gets to -40 there, and probably won't anytime soon with all of this "global warming." At -40 I would be more concerned with keeping my fingers attached to my body.

Sometimes those mid-atlantic states get more snow than we do up here in Maine.

But I think his intended sarcasm was misjudged.  I lived in VA for a spell, and I don't recall temps ever holding steady in the single digits.  It may get some cold snaps down there, but it's certainly not COLD in MD.

Hell it's not really COLD up here in Maine either, not ALL the time anyway.

Why I think Glock is best? Simplicity of a revolver; Capacity of a semi-auto. Engineered perfection.
