Good-Accurate, reliable holds 14 rounds of 45, light recoil. If I had to rely on one pistol this would be it.

Bad-Grip is very thick, too thick for some people to use comfortably. Large, long and thick grip is difficult to conceal.

If you use the thumbs forward grip guys with smaller hands can shoot the bigger double stack guns.

Before I used a thumbs crossed or thumbs down weaver grip/stance. The largerst gun I could grip was the glock 17,22,35. Once I learned the thumbs foward modern isosceles grip/stance I can shoot glock 21's and even was able to shoot a .44 desert eagle.

I've had one in a holster screwed to the headboard of my bed for 11-12 years. Great gun if your hands are large enough. If 14 rounds of .45 won't get you out of trouble, you're fucked!

Reliable, accurate, but BIG. 14 .45's before a reload is down right comforting. Sold my G-22 .40S&W. But probably won't ever sell the 21 or the 17.

I own both a G-21 and HK USP,all in all, I prefer the HK.

New style frame is easier on the hands... but mine are big too!

Have owned a Usp 45 & the Glock 21 45. Still own the Glock 21. Never have had a jam with the Glock.

Love my 21, but it is like firing a brick, I have fairly small hands. Never had a problem w/it, I really surprised myself at the 25 yard target, all the rounds hit the target! for me thats great!

I love mine. I use it as my conceal carry weapon when I wear sport coats or long shirts untucked. I tried getting an ankle holster for it but everyone laughed at me. Fully loaded, those 14 rounds are heavy!

Easy to control (I have large hands), accurate, and when fired has a very nice deep boomy sound.

I love my 21. I have fired all sorts of ammo from fmc to hydra-shoks and have had no problems. I also love to go ammo shopping and look and the huge selection of .45 auto ammo.

Oh my gawd, you are the man!...I cried like a little baby when I tried to conceal a GLOCK #19 on an ankle holster...GLOCK #21??? WOW!!!

Its a great weapon! Ive got medium large hands and it fits me just fine. I also have the G30. If youre interested in a .45 glock that is a little more concealable than the 21 the 30 is the ticket. You get 10+1 rounds and it handles identically to the 21 in terms of comfort and controlability.

Another big fan here. Bought a 2nd-Gen (finger grooves, no rail) and couldn't get a good grip for squat. Did an even trade with a friend that had a Gen 1 and now have it on my "never, ever sell" list.

Positives: Very easy to control (and I don't *think* I have particularly large hands). *Very* accurate. Nice weight and balance which makes it point very well for me. Good magazine capacity. Reliable with everything I've run through it except for some unintentionally light handloads (note: 5.2 grains of VV350 is *not* the equivalent of 5.2 grains of WW231 - I don't care what anybody says).

Negatives: Nearly impossible for me to conceal on my frame without a coat on (actually due to height, not thickness). Pre-ban, full-cap mags are expensive as shit (we can speculate on the AWB expiration later). Umm... that's all I can think of.

I'm considering adding a G36 to the stable for warmer months (I'm currently recuperating from a minor case of "broke as hell", though) but, come winter weather, the G21 will be my carry gun.

Any specific concerns or questions on it, Dodgeram?

I had a 21 and let it go to a friend. I wish I still had it. I think it is the mildest recoiling 45 made.(including HK's with the dual recoil springs). I have medium size hands, a perfect fit in medium sized uncle mikes' duty gloves, and had no trouble handling the 21. I replaced it with a glock 20-10mm. I'm not gunna letter go! The 20 even with hot ammo is no problem. The 21 was slightly softer in recoil.

I have a G21 for sale, 1st generation with on ly 7 rounds fired through it. Not a scratch looks brand new. Comes with plastic box, brush and rod, mag loader. $435 with the 10 round mag or $485 with the 10 and 13 (preban)mag. Can email picture [email protected]

I had the robar grip reduction done to another G21 and it now fits my small hands great. Well worth the money if you are going to be shooting the gun a lot.

Superb handgun, reliability is second to none. True, it may big a little big for those with smallish hands but there are ways to deal with this issue.

Have one, put the Hogue Grips on it and it still fits my hands perfectly. Yes I have big hands but not the big associated body parts.

The gun is great, it jumps less than my 9mm S&W when fired. I can also empty it on target in less time than that S&W and the 9mm only holds 8 rounds, while the G21 holds 14.

They are great guns for combat, ugly as hell and not the most accurate but if you need it it will work.

Have a 2nd generation. Fast,simple,fun. I have medium size hands and it feels big but it is really controlable. It is easy to get a lot of "skin on the gun" and that is what gives you the control.

I had a G21 for several years. It was accurate, smooth shooting, dependable, and even though it was bit large, it was a 45 so who cares? I have just one complaint....I got rid of it!

I stick to the G22 in .40 now. Have two. Love em, but still miss the G21 on occasion. If the AWB truely goes to hell, I'll buy another with the Hi-caps, but I ain't re-investing till then.

My son's department just coverted to the G21. He was all for it until he had some trouble with it slipping in his hand due to rain during qualifications. One handed shooting is interesting.

I have had mine since 1995. I had a choice of a Sig P220 or the 21. Chose the 21 and I have never regretted it. My hands are medium sized but I have learned to shoot the 21 just fine. I also instruct others to shoot them. The 21 is not for everyone but those who use it, love it. I say buy one. resdep

I had a first gen G21 with Trijicon night sights. The gun was extremely reliable, acceptably accurate, and huge. I sold it and bought a G23. The G21 was just an OK Glock to me.

But a G21 in an ankle rig?

Man, you'd have to have the build of Godzilla!
