I'm thinking of picking up a Glock 26, but it looks like prices have gone up since i've bought my last Glock.  What's a good price on a new G26?  What's a good price on a used G26?

Thanks,
RR

I just got one new for 499 - had to pay tax though, but i had it in my hand and decided to keep it...

used i would say 450 or so and im betting you would get a few mags and a holdter (depending one who had it and what they bought that they are selling with it)

IMO blocks hold thier value better..i know i am more comfortable buying a used glock then any other gun...

also i bet less people are selling glock26 becuase its j8ust a great all around carry cun...

Thanks.  I'll have to check them out since I'm in Dallas

Yup, but I'm thinking the price of ammo is doing the same; you'll find more 27's for sale by individuals than you will 26's.

G26's are worth their weight in gold.  I can't think of a more effective weapon that fits in that envelope.  I have the Pearce +2 adder that gives your pinky a place to rest, but doesn't really increase the size of the gun all that much.

IMHO, 13+1 rounds of quality 9mm beats 10+1 rounds of 40-cal any day, due to the lower recoil and very similar performance.

+1, ill agree with that....

I never got into .40cal...plus its more fricken expensive then 45acp...it casue its kind of the "it" round right now...

i will take more rouns of 9 over less rounds of 40 ANY DAY...less recoil, more accuracy, with the right ammo just as deadly and more rounds..come on

heh simple really...go to www.gssfonline.com/ and join...costs ~$35 for a year if I recall correctly. They will send you a certificate for one glock at current LEO pricing which for the average 9/.40 is $398 ... the 10mm and .45s are around 465 if I recall correctly but I could be wrong on those. Only one gun purchase / certificate per membership so you can't "stock up".

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anything on the website about them sending a LEO pricing certificate.  Is it supposed to be "icing on the cake" that you're not supposed to know about until you check your mailbox?

There is absolutely no reason you should pay more than $499.  You can find them from $450ish to $479ish to the outside of $499.  Any more than that and you're being screwed.  Look online (it might be cheaper even w/ shipping depending on your AO).  You can get some great used glocks pretty much anywhere.  I just picked a used 19 up from Summit Gun Broker online for $365.  Do some research and you'll find a good deal.

I found a 26 at the pawn shop today in the box with all the stuff it came with, priced at $489.95. The owner said somebody had traded it in as "used", but I couldn't tell that it had been fired. I left my 6 year old KelTec P11 and $300 behind and walked out the door.
I think it was a decent trade.

yeah it's hard to find...which browser are you using? I remember that it only shows up on the website using one browser and not the other (FF vs IE) . But in any event, it's still going on. (just looked at the website in IE and it works) This is what you are looking for.

Yup, I'm using FF.

Does this:  "LIMITED TIME OFFER TO CURRENT GSSF MEMBERS ONLY!" mean only those existing members that renew are eligible, or that once you join, you're considered a current member and hence eligible for the deal?

There aren't any participating dealers in ME, but there is a dealer that will honor the same price and ship to a local FFL...though once you add up GSSF fee+shipping+FFL transfer you might be able to get it for less locally. Where in ME are you?

Damn. Shipping/FFL transfer?

I am just trying to get a G27 in my hands for $400 OTD. I would be quite happy with that deal for a good condition pistol, especially with night sights.
