I know that the .40 cal pistols are more likely to KB because the cartridge is operating at closer to 50K cup, but how about the 9mm pistolas? Any 9mm KBs that weren't cause by reloader negligence?

I experienced one in my USP9f one time.

The case ruptured at the 6 o'clock position, it blew the magazine out the botton and locked up the slide good and tight. However, because it was a 9mm not damage was done and after we got the slide opened and the case removed I continued shooting it.

Oh, sorry this was definitely a reloaded round.

This is the only one I've ever heard of, he was using shoddy commerical reloads.

Edit: Should have read your post a bit more carefully
