Fellow Glock users,

Anyone using Buffer Tech's Glock buffer? Saw on Glockmeister that recoil buffers shouldn't be used.

Any input greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

There is no need to use the little plastic buffers in any gun, especially a Glock.
They will jam your gun at the worst time.

I agree. They might do something for a 1911 but I don't see a need for them on a GLOCK.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I vaguely remember reading somewhere, possibly from a Duncan Long text, that buffer pads were a good thing. I'll have to try to find that book again and make sure of this . . . .

buffer pads are pretty useless on a glock.  there is no "VIOLENT BATTERING" on the frame or slide like their advertizements say.  all it will do is possibly short stroke your pistol and later on down the road it will break up and jam your pistol.

buffers are a waste of money that serve no purpose save proving P.T. Barnum correct.
