Just made this blade to go with a G-19. It is ground from 5/32 154 CM with black linen micarta scales and a soft steel wool finish to kill the glare, the blade is about 3" and the OAL is 6 5/8' (same as the slide.) What do you think?

Nice blade, I read bladeforums.com fairly regularly, as I'm into knives as well as guns.

Your G19 has a lot of character.  Nice to see somebody actually using the things instead of keeping them in a safe and wiping them with a diaper once a month.

I did it myself. I prefer to call it wore the fuck out.

It is just the bare Tenifer treated steel of an 18 year old GLOCK that has has almost all of the black oxide worn off.

I'm too scared to stop using a tooth brush on my babies. Can I send one to you to get your custom W.T.F.O. finish?  Is the turnaround always 18 years?

Actually, I have only had it for 7 or 8 years. I bought it used for $325 when it was just worn around the edges similar to Rabons, pictured above. I wore the finish down to where there was only about 20% left and took the rest off with a polishing cloth because it looked mangey.

I replace the Hogue every fall. I only keep it on the pistol when it's cold as it makes it easier to grip with gloves.
