What's a fair market price for a G19?  I'm thinking about one for my daughter, and want to know what's a fair price before I go talking to the local dealers.

In my area they go for $484-499. Add in a little sales tax (5% in VA) and you're right at $525 out the door.

A new Glock for less than $500 + tax is a good price.

I was gonna say $479, so appears above info and mine are inside the ballpark.....

Depends on what they go for in your area.  I can get standard 9/40/357 for around $500 OTD.

i got mine for $500 out the door, with two mags, loader, case and all the goodies that come with them,

make sure your dealer gives you both mags and the case with easy loader so on, Around $500 is about the best going rate out the door

many locally listing base models for 530-570 sticker price

but im pretty sure anywhere 500-600 closer to 500 the better under that is great. For me for 570+ it better have trijicon on them.

Dont be afraid to haggle if the guy wants 550 ask him if he is going to throw in extra mags or a holster or  few boxes ammo etc Depending on the distrib they are dealing with their profit margin on those items might be higher.

Example might be cheaper for him to throw in 2 mags that cost him $7 each rather then discount the gun $40


another little trick, ask him what he charges for extra mags, holster, Tactical light,  trijicon sights added later when have the money. He will be more likely to discount the gun if he thinks he will get your return buisness on those other items later
