I have been a glock owner for a little under a year. I swore I would never buy a polymer framed handgun but I broke down and bought a 3rd Gen. G19 NIB at a killer price.  I was wondering if any of the more experienced glock owners that might read this have ever used or replaced the factory glock trigger with the lightning strike aluminum one? If so, is it worth it?

Not worth it, IMHO.  I've had about a dozen different Glocks over the years & the ONLY thing I'd change from OEM parts are the sights.  I learned the hard way by shattering a Lightning Strike titanium striker that the tactical tupperware is about as resilient as it can get right out of the box.  I also changed my subcompact models' mag floorplates to the Pearce Grip ones.  Other than that, I'd leave it as-is.  Get yourself a quality holster(s) & spend the rest on ammo.

The Lightning Strike is said to be a bad choice. It bypasses the trigger safety somehow and allows to many chances of an AD.
