What purpose do the numbers on glock magaxines. I got some g19 marked with number 4 followers And I hear a Loud rattle in the magazine when fully loaded?


SOmething wrong with my mag or follower?

I was told it was a version number of the type/style of follower installed

It's just a version number.  There are a few followers out there with slightly different shapes and they have their own marks.

I own several handguns and rifles, and all of them have magazines that rattle with rounds loaded in them.

followers on my G17 mags have a number 5 on them
