Quick question.  My G27 has a trigger pin and a retaining pin, one above the other.  My G17 has two.  They are both older, pre 96.  I have a "newer" G19 with the light rail, coolguy grips and it has only one pin, the trigger pin.  What gives?  I didn't even notice till someone brought it up.  Thanks Grant

All Glocks have pins #1 & #2(commonly call 2 pin receivers). All calibers except 9mm full-size and compact have the third pin(Locking Block pin). After '02(IIRC) Glock standardized production and stopped making the 2 pin receiver(frame), so all current production receivers have 3 pins.

Pin #1 = Trigger Housing Pin
Pin #2 = Trigger Pin
Pin #3 = Locking Block Pin

UR the man thank you for the reply, any chance this will cause me problems down the road, having only one pin?

Can you post a picture of this G19?  I didn't think third generation, 2 pin glocks existed.

I have a 3rd generation 2 pin G21. Is that unusual?

Yes, they were produced in 9mm from '98 - '02(maybe up to "03, not sure when they dropped the 2pin receiver) in G17, G19 and G34

My bad. I counted the pins right, it was just on the wrong gun. It's on a 3rd generation 2 pin G17 I have. Not the G21.
