At first, it will feel weird in your hand.  If you shoot a few hundred rounds out of it, it will start feeling better.  Then, you will realize that it is a better mouse trap, and everything else will feel weird.  Then, people will make fun of you for likeing a plastic gun.  But it will hit if you can, and it will go bang more regularly than anything else you have ever had.

Welcome to the other side.

If John Moses Browning lived in a time where polymer was available, then he would have made a handgun out of it.  The people who think just because he didn't design the gun it's crap, need to realize that he died before alot of weapon advances were discovered.

I like the grape flavor...mmmmm

You do know that Glocks use a Browning-type locking system, right?

range report inc tonight! Another friend decided to buy one at the same time out of the same shipment...so we ended up with sequentially serial numbered G17's

It actually surprises me how good it feels, I never played around with one much before this.

Friend of mine drug me through the coals when I traded my S&W 1006 10mm for a G22 and some $ back in 1992.  He 'hated' those foregin made jobs, etc... He's a big 1911 fan.

So the other day we were out shooting 'our' Glocks........ He's thinking about buying anohter one.

Have fun and congrats.
