I have a new lasermax on my g19 and am wandering if the red battery cap is broken. The cap has no means to hold itself in the laser other than by the pressure of the spring holding it to the selector. This could be normal as there is no danger of it coming apart in the gun, but after paying their price I feel like it should be better built than it is. I have tried to contact their socalled "technical support" several times and am always given an excuse why they cannot help me.

It should slide in on grooves...the red cap and the flat part of the laser have arrows on it, put the cap on in the direction on both and it should slide in.  How did you remove the red cap?  I hope you didn't pry it off, since it slides off easily.  LaserMax have good CS, I called them today about grit in my laser's window and they said they'll take care of it, even if the warantee is expired.
