Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - using a 40cal to 9mm conversion barrel in a G23

Is this a reliable setup? Its my carry gun, but the 9mm barrel will only be used for fun, it stays stock for carry. I am getting a 9mm suppressor soon and wanted to avoid buying another host.

I converted a friends G22 and I have not seen him in months. I have talked to his wife and all she does is SCREAM at me, something about he's always at the range?  I don't understand?

There are several guys on the forum who run the conversions on a daily basis without any kind of hiccups.

Many will disagree, but I would change the ejector, extractor and spring loaded bearing. Also know that even though the conversions from 40/.357 to 9 are reliable, they aren't reccommended for defensive purposes.
