John was in the airport police capt's office and he said the men who shot at him had " Glock 7's, a porcelain gun made in Germany".   WTF lol

What a moronic statement.  Everyone knows it's Glock 17's that are porcelin and made in Germany.

My porcelain GLOCK says "Made in Austria"
I special ordered it without any other markings, not even a serial number.

Better watch it.  That coffee cup might explode one day while you are sipping from it.

Hey!
Did you guys notice what gun Al Pacino used in Heat?

Yeah, I had my Glock 7 in my carry on bag the other day when I went to catch my plane home. It went through the x-ray but it doesn't show up, so they looked right over it. Well, I realized their mistake and felt bad, so I went back and told them and they took my gun. That's the last time I do that! I'll have to call up Gaston later and get him to FedEx me a new one right away.

Wait, you mean to say movies aren't the best source for firearms info? Next you are going to tell me that super secret special forces units featuring former bodybuilders and wrestlers don't go into the jungle and fight aliens with backpack miniguns. Oh yeah, and the gun in Heat was airsoft.

Don't quote me but it looked like a 1911 black gloss finish with stag grips that had a slight yellow tint. It was a 4" or similar model not a full size. Colt, Kimber, Springer? The barrel was polished in addition to the hammer. I want to know what rifle he used in the post bank robbery shoot out scene. Was it a H&K?. Full sprint in an urban gun battle carrying at least a .308 combat / tacticle weapon. Coming to a full stop, taking a 2 second pause to aim and dropping the Bad Guy who is running at him thru a fountain carrying a child with a center forehead shot...........AH Hollywood!. I think Tom Sizemore, the one who got smoked, was carrying a folding stck Galil and the rest had 14" barrelled M-4's. DeNiro packed what looked like a Sig 226 and the same for Val Kilmer. The guy who was always the wheel man for the gang was in one scene with a shot gun. Kilmer also used a G3 or DSA .308 as a sniper rifle for the drive in scene and Sizemore finished off the bagman driving the Dodge duelie with what looked like a Berretta Super 90-Semi- Auto 12 GA with tactical stock...

What can I say..I saw the movie twice...on a dvd rental.

Pacino had a Colt officers model 1911. The rifle was an FN FNC.
The rifle was chambered for 5.56, not 7.62.
