ahh yes the mags, looking at the 32rd mags does something to me; makes me all warm and fuzzy inside:)

33 or 31; 32 isn't an option. extra mags are my only upgrade. i have a few lights but they make the pistol to combersome to carry. one pistol came with a grip plug so i left it in.

i also buy a decent holster.

Hogue slip on grip and Lasermax on my 22.  Just the Lasermax on my 27.

ETA I've recently plugged the grip on both.

Agreed, except for the KKM bbl.  My factory bbl will eat anything, and is more accurate than I am at any range.  The KKM will eventually get a stuck case after firing too much wolf, though.  It must have a tighter chamber.

I also have no reservation recommending an extended slide release.  I have mixed feelings about an extended mag release, though.  It would be fine if you had a holster that would never, ever allow the mag release to be hit.  Otherwise, though, it can cause problems.  There's nothing more embarrasing than firing a round and then....click because your mag had dropped 1/16" of an inch.

I put a set of Trijicon sights on my 19; I could have lived with the plastic rear sight, but that front sight had to go...

Other than that, I like it just fine the way it is, although I wouldn't mind putting a Sure-Fire on it.

extended slide release -much easier to manipulate to lock back in case of malfunction. overlooked IMHO.

Extended mag release, be it any of the aftermarkets or one you scavanged from a 20/21 to put on your 17,19,22,23,24,26,27,31,32,33,or those GAP atrocities).  Ameriglo operator sights would be good, though you could go with pretty much any tritium sight.  Make yourself a pattern and cover the grip in skateboard deck tape, very good working and only costs about an hour of your life (keep the discarded pattern so you can make more in the future).  Tungsten steel guide rod and a Taylor Freelance slug plug are nice things to have, but non-essential.  Three and a half pound trigger is nice if you like a light trigger.  If you are going to spend this much on upgrading your pistol, you should really have gotten a holster before hand... Go with leather or kydex, whatever floats your boat, but don't skimp on it.  Lights are also good, if you think you want a laser, spend the money on training ammo instead.  I have yet to try one of the recoil reducing recoil spring guides (Hartz, etc), but have heard nothing but bad about them.   A-grip is another way to go for grip enhancement, my wife's G-19C has that as well as a few of mine have a piece here and there.  Mr. Cominolli makes a manual saftey for the Glock (don't buy a Glock if you want to doubt your own intelligence) as well as a modified trigger.  I bought one, a trigger that is, for my G21, shot it a few times then wondered why I just wasted $100.  Another thing you can get is titanium parts, they make strikers and saftey plungers, my wife's gun has both but I think she likes the fact that they match the Taylor freelance slug plug in color.  These are most of the things I have done to my guns, I hope this helps.

Night sights and Steel guide rod.  Have personally seen two broken factory guide rods at the range where I work.  One from a 23, and the other just last Saturday from a 30.  Other than those two mods, ammo, mags, range time.  Maybe even some instruction.  Its amazing to watch people's groups shrink a couple inches when you give them 2 or 3 quick suggestions.

I dont own a stock glock, and have never owned one. That being said, I think the stock sights are shit, and need to be replaced. I have ameriglo smooth slopes on my chromed G35, which are great. On my Robar G21, I have Heine Straight Eights. They are great as well. I have not messed with guiderods or connectors, and dont feel the need to.

Lets see....AGrip,tungsten giuderod,Silicon recol spring, Aluminum trigger,Dawson fiber optic front sight, sunk bomar rear, frame contoured from trigger guard back,barsto barrel,mag well....other than that nothing major. Factory is fine for those in the back of the line.

Trijicon night sights and a 3 1/2lb connector/NY trigger combo is all I would EVER do to a Glock.

I have the Ameriglo Smooth Operators... they use the Smooth slope rear sight and the Operator front sight.
In retrospect, I would have been happy with just a front steel Glock sight. I would have saved $70+.

Now Lumpy you have to get one of those face tenderizers like I have rusting in the safe.

what do you all think about the grip plugs?  Are they worth anything?  Is it even possible for dirt or mud or anything to work its way into the slide or action through that hollow area in the grip??

I think thta grip plugs are a waste.  If Gaston wanted to not make that area hollow in the first place, why didn't he just design it that way?
