I want to buy this exact Glock 19, so I need to know exactly what to tell my gun store to order.

I know it has an accessory rail and a molded grip, so is it a stock 3rd Generation Glock 19 or is it special?  thanks for any info. -Dave

awesome. thanks for the info. I just got my New York CCW permit and it will be my first handgun purchase. i'm sure it will treat me as well as my Colt M4A3.

Gen 3 G19

I can't tell if it has night sights or anything changed on the inside.

well i don't live in New York City or those couple impossible counties, but getting a CCW is almost guaranteed as long as you qualify. but it did take 8 months and over $100 to get processed. so yeah i had to jump through some hoops.

so what else should i know about getting my first Glock?

and where the heck can i get PRE-BAN high cap mags???

good advice...i use a good amount of CLP on my Colt M4A3, so im guessing i shouldn't use even close to that much in the Glock.

so where can i get NY legal pre ban high caps for it??

I literally use 3 drops of oil on my Glocks. 1 drop on each slide rail and 1 on the rear trigger bar.
Don't know much about the mag situation, sorry

Wouldn't that be 5 drops?

I just oil the front slide rails and let the rear ones get lubed from the remaining oil

definetly do not over oil it

Oil where Twonami said but I would also oil the barrel hood and locking lugs
