I just picked up a 1st gen g19 and am having problems with it slamfiring.  Almost like 2 round burst.  The only thing that looks odd is that the firing pin and pin block look very new for a 1st gen glock.  Also the firing pin seems to be very light.  My next step is to remove the trigger assembly to see if it is original or an aftermarket part.

Has anyone had a similar problem?
Thanks.

Look at the trigger bar, is it black? Is the firing pin silver? If some parts are black and some silver then that might be the problem as someone might have done part of an upgrade.. Also check the connector, Alchemy(sp?) produced some #3.5 connectors that would double and triple.
