I bought my G31 when they first came out and I have yet to have any problems.
IIRC, the whole Kb thing came about when the .40 S&W was introduced. The .40 was basically a short 10mm and when the round was designed, the webbing of the brass was not reinforced to account for the higher pressures that were produced. Couple that with the chamber of the Glock, which does not fully support the cartridge, and you start having Kb's.
The problem with the non-reinforced brass has long since been resolved. Normally, your Kb's now, are caused by hot reloads.
There was a recent recall on some of the "E" serial model Glocks, for possible frame/rail problems, that were manufactured in the 2000/2001 time period.
ETA: Since the .357 SIG round is so snappy, it is recommended that you replace the captured guide rod/spring assembly every 1000 rds or so. Just thought I'd throw that out, since doing that will save wear and tear on the frame.
