Does your G17 pick up a round after slide released with 18rds?
If so, it shouldnt hurt the spring any being loaded with 18rds. TG |

Not really a good idea. What is happening is you are cruching the legs of the follower for the extra round. Sooner or later you will have feed problems. To me it's not worth the 1 extra round for a failure. I can put 150psi in my tires so I get better gas miliage but......... well, you get the idea

It does pick it up, I can even slap in the mag with the slide closed, and then rack the slide to chamber a round. I'm going to keep it 17rd though for fear of breaking something. |

good idea, don't risk it. The mags are meant for 17 rounds and Glock knows what they're doing.

have the same problem w/ G18 mags holding 32 rounds instead of 31
since i was using a mag loader, it was not that tough to load, but since they were new mags i thought that i had 31 in the mag till i recounted my bullets..... keep it loaded to specs |

All of my G18 mags have the Glock +2 extension, so they're loaded to 33. |
