and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the differences were in the 3 generations that Glock has produced.

I've actually been there.  Searching, in fact, for generational differences and couldn't come up with anything  If it is on there, I sure would appreciate your help in directing me to it.  Thanks!

Well, the pictures sure did help, but I think that not-so-subtle peer pressure may have pushed me over the edge

You can't go wrong with a G17, I bought one and love it I even use it as my CCW gun.

yea I was looking for that but I don't know what to call it. like gen 2.5 or gen 3 and the new one is gen 4.  they all are good. in some ways I like the early ones like 1 and 2 better smooth and no frills. I would use any gen and still be happy.
