[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone use a G34/35 holster for their G41?

Website says slide width in the 34 is 30mm and the 41 is 32.5mm.

Just wondering how much of a difference that really makes and if anyone has used a holster for their 34/35 with a G41 and still had good retention.

It won't fit, I had a custom one made for my 40MOS but my 17L will like all the way down with a little pressure.

The 40 slide is the same thickness as the G20/21 slide. That's why your 17L was loose in the holster for your 40MOS. The 41 slide is thinner and closer to the 34/35 which is why I was curious if it would fit better.

Curious which holster you are using? Something like a Comp-Tac or Raven or something custom?

My 41 would not fit in my 34/35 Safariland holster I use on duty.

I used a G19 holster for my 41

Was a BlackHawk Serpa

just a humble blade tech made for G 34

On my duty holsters that use the SLS system (the rotating hood) it will not work. On my holsters that are the ALS it does work. Every holster is a little different. If you use the backstraps with the beaver tail, none of my SLS holsters will work unless I modify them.

That doesn't surprise me. I think Safariland is very precise with their moldings. I tried to use a holster for a G19 with my 26, and it was not a smooth holster and unholster.

I like Safariland products so I value that input.
