It always perplexed me why they did not ever come out with a slightly larger version of the 36 with size and capacity very close to a commander size 1911

People have wanted this unicorn for a long time. It would help the 21 balance better and team that up with a dual RSA with a little more tension in the spring boom you have a G21s
|

I don't understand why Glock never expanded the slim slide to their other .45 pistol.. or why they didn't put the G30S slide on a Gen 4 frame.

How about a single stack 21/41. Or a single stack 30/30s? What the 36 should have been. Not everyone in the world can handle the large frame due to the size of their hands.
The skinny 41 does not lend itself to conversion like the 21 does. But if you don't need to convert it, the thin slide is fine. |
