Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone else see the Glock 9 -11 commemorative?

Had my grubby paws on a Glock .45 with the 9-11 tribute emblazoned on the slide. I was touched how nicely it was done. I was just a piece of plastic away from owning it, and walked away. I can only hope, who ever will own it, will cherish it as much as I would have! Left unfired, perhaps, just to look at in awe.

I have`nt seen one, but would like to.

It would be hard to own a gun and not shoot it.

Although I'm an H&K enthusiast, I've noticed two of the 9-11 Glocks at my local FFL.  One of the Glock guys up there said he'd buy it if it were laser engraved and not just stamped on there.  Still, a great cause to buy a gun for.
