I don't know what you mean by "fiddle about." I have a Crossbreed Supertuck for my XD45; it takes about 20 seconds to put on.

This One.
If you prefer AIWB carry as opposed to strong side hip, maybe this one. I have one of the Cooks Adjustables for a P-9 and have been very pleased with it. Both holsters shown are incredibly quick to put on and take off, retain well and are nice and compact. As an added bonus, because of the small size they're good for putting into a bag or the like while fully protecting the trigger. |

Like the guy above me said, I've never minded tossing my Galco King Tuk on quickly to run to the store or wherever. 20 seconds tops.
If you need something super quick, get a Safariland GLS paddle holster. Cheap, easy on, easy off, and you can just throw on a light jacket this time of year and hide it. If you need something 'easier' than a IWB in the summer you're pretty much looking at a smaller gun and a pocket holster. |

Blade-Tech partial eclipse. Probably the most versatile OWB holster I own since it routinely holds either a Glock 22 or Glock 27. Conceals really nice too.

Thanks for the recommendations guys, thats exactly what I was referring to. I've heard of people liking appendix carry I just don't know if I would ever be able to have the gun pointed in that certain direction lol.

The other option, which is what I do: Holster up in the morning when I get dressed, and wear it all day. Holster comes off at night as I get undressed for bed. So I never have to think about it when I need to make a quick run to the store, it's already where it belongs......

DeSantis Soft Tuck 2. I have tried Alien Gear and a few others for IWB carry and keep going back to the Soft Tuck 2. And, it only costs about $25.

Fobus paddle, crossbreeds are a PAIN to put on and take a LONG time to get in the correct position. They are highly over-rated and not worth the time to try to put on. My opinion, YMMV....<><....:)

You might want to consider Raven's Vanguard 2. It's a minimalist holster and is pretty easy to take on and off.

I can see the allure of paddle holsters and minimalist holsters for convenience, however I was in the same mindset when I piurchased this bianchi:
I didnt want a thumb break because I thought it would be too busy. This one pictured is the perfect mix of style, comfort, and concealability for me. ITs a sinch to put on, all you do is slip it onto the belt. NIMOY |

No problem getting it on or off and in the right position. Maybe while driving, but that's about it.

My current favorite is Cooks adjustable IWB. Before the Cook's holster I preferred Comptac MTac holsters, which I still use but less often. |

Do any of the leather IWB have tension adjustments? Leather has a tendency to stretch and not retain the firearm as secure as it was when new?

+1 on the Raven VG2. I love mine and its the only holster I use for my RMR'd G17. Conceals perfectly with just a loose t-shirt.

Ive used a fobus paddle holster for over 10-years. its never come out of my pants when drawing the gun. but i wear a good 5 stitch wilderness belt.
Unlce mikes and blade tech paddle holsters on the other hand suck IME |

I wore the G-Code INCOG midline carry for 18 months with Glock 26 or 19. I just replaced for daily carry with the new INCOG Eclipse. Even easier to get on and off. My original INCOG has the "tactical fuzz" worn a bit in places but it is still functions perfectly. I added the Mag Caddy to it so that it serves a little different purpose than the new INCOG Eclipse. I couldn't be happier with it. It worse with or without a belt, though I pretty much always wear it with one.
I have several of the Vanguard 2s. I have used them before and still occasionally do. I have a Crossbred Supertuck, I haven't used it since I moved from 4-5 o'clock carry to 12 o'clock carry. Link to the INCOG Eclipse Link to the original INCOG Pic of my original INCOG with my Glock 19

I bought a Sticky Holster for the waiting period while my Alien Gear is being built. I've worn it a lot and am very happy with it. Even threw it in my shorts after leaving the gym to go to the store and it stayed put.

I dropped fobus after an IDPA match where it refused to let go of my Berretta.
