I don't know which one to pick. G37 or G23, I shot a G21 before and I liked it, recoil wasn't too bad. But I never shot a .40, so I don't know how much difference between a .45 and a .40 . I need you guys to fill me in, give me some input, I would really appreciate it.

thanks in advance.

People compare the recoil of .45 acp as a push and recoil of .40 as snappier and more upward.  I have never shot .45gap so I am not sure what it would be like.  I personally carry a 23 and I don't find the recoil bad at all.  I can shoot the gun all day.

thank you Researcher.

I probably get a .40 as long as the recoil not as bad as the .357 sig..

If you shot the G21 before and liked it, why aren't you considering that? People usually consider the G37 because they find the model 21 too big.

I think you will find the recoil of the 40 a little sharper than the 45 acp. Ammo for the 40 will be plentiful however ammo for the G37 might be a little harder to find. Have you considered a 9mm? What will the pistol be used for?

The 37 is kind of a bastard round and the 21 is huge.  If you don't have a problem with that go for the one that fits your hand better.  This will undoubtably be the 37.

I don't like either of these guns a whole lot so I carry a 23 and it's great.  The recoil is managable and is an almost perfect size so I would say get this gun...

+1 on the 30.  If you can't get over the snap of the .40 the G30 is a great gun in .45 ACP and is about the same size as the 23...

I wouldnt buy one in 45gap until i see that the ammo actually makes it off the ground, i wouldnt want a gun that costs $.50 a shot, no fun to shoot IMO.

I own a 23 and a 21.  I like the 21 very much, but it is a handful.  The 23 is my hands down favorite overall concealed carry gun.  Get one and really get to know it.  Unlike a woman, it will grow on you and will not let you down.
