I could never get a firing grip on the gun--the back of the slide would snag, so my draw wasn't 100% reliable. Went with a S&W 642 for everyday pocket carry. When I carry the G27 now, it rides on the belt or ankle. In before people who somehow manage to pocket-carry a G27 in business-casual attire.

I have carried my g27 in my back pocket. But I prefer an IWB holster.
You grab it wrong it's going off. |

I carry mine in the pocket now and then in a desantis nemesis. Not ideal for edc but ok to take the dogs out or run to the corner store.

I used a Glock Tech holster and a pair of House of Blue Jeans.
The HOB jeans have an extra large "condom pocket" on the right side that carries a G26 or G30 perfectly. The gun does not ride as high as appendix carry or carry low in a traditional pocket. It is just in that sweet spot with nothing but a T-shirt covering it. |

It's not something I'd want to do all the time, but I have tossed mine (in a Bladetech kydex holster) into the pocket of my coveralls for a quick trip to the parts store.
IWB is much better. |
