yay. i also have the glock factory extended slide lock on all of mine.

Need one more option to the poll, 'sometimes'. While I have used the slide lock release, I find that it is easier to just 'pull back on the slide and release it'. We still have the stock slide release and they are kind of small to release quickly.

i have all one type of extended releases on my Glocks. I also have installed a racker on 2 of them

I use it sometimes, and until it breaks in and becomes easy. Usually I power rack the slide after a reload.

My grip does not work well with Glock's extended slide stop. My high grip activates the slide stop inadvertently. Due to that I've been slingshotting the slide for the past several years.

I reload using the overhand method which is like the sling shot method only with your hand turned 180 degrees. I can easily release the slide with the factory slide stop though, full mag or not.

I use a Vickers extended version on all of my Glocks, and yes, I use it to release the slide during reloads.

I generally slingshot my Glocks.
Other pistols, with bigger slide release levers, get RTB'd that way. |
