I had a set put on my G23 but really do not care for them much...actually it is the rear sight I do not like more than the front. They can work fairly well out to 25 yards but you must devote the time to really get used to them. For me, they do very little I cannot do as well with more standard sight designs. I will not be installing them on any of my other handguns.

I had a set on my G36. at 15feet it shot about 6inches low. I switched them out for a set of triji's. They looked cool, but were alittle awkward for me to get used to.

I know some guys who shoot pepper poppers at 100 yards with this setup. They use a novak rear with a huge ass cut though, on 1911s.

Has anyone out there used the Ashley/XS standard dot with their rear sight?
