I dont think that the included IBIS cases are a "recommendation" from glock to use aluminum cased ammo. It is most likely a cost saving measure for the test firing and requirement for the cases for some states.

I have used lots of blazer aluminum in my glocks works fine

Had a debate with a guy at work about using Blazers in glocks. So I called up a Guy I know that works in the service dept. of Glock and he told me that's all they use to test fire the guns. Thousands of rounds a year.

Why would anybody suggest that Glock recommends aluminum brass, based on the fired cases that came with their Glock? It's befuddling!

I prefer it over steel for plinking ammo Yep. Majority of the stuff I shoot. Usually about $1 cheaper per box, and when buying 40 boxes at a time it adds up. Plus, I don't reload so I don't feel guilty about leaving it on the ground. |

I called Glock about a minor issue I was having with a new G19; the rep I spoke with specifically recommended I try CCI Blazer aluminum.
