I think I want a g29. I have a 20 and like it a lot.
Can anyone share any thoughts on this mighty midget?

kick beyond control? my girly wrists can handle my nuclear handloads in my g20 but how about the 29 and non-nuclear handloads but above 40 cal specs?

There is no kick in any glock that is beyond control. the 10 has some more than usual but not to the point where it cannot be used and enjoyed. I love shooting my 27, and wanted a bit more power to match my 20. If you can handle the 20 with full loads, then the 29 shouldnt really be an issue. I put a schrarer +2 on one mag and a finger extension on the other. I need to buy a few more. I also did the grip sleeve on a g20 mag. Makes it a little more versatile.

I am thinking about replacing the sights on the 20 with a set of the ghost rings, and moving the night sites on it now, to my 29.

As for the price... it's worth it. I sold one of my 2 G27's to pay for the 29. Mine was 580 out the door at a local dealer (included the 9% tax we have locally)

Look for one used.  29's are pretty easy to find.  Most gun stores have one or two for sale used due to buyer's remorse from folks who wet themselves the first time they shot it.
